Edwards and grounded in Kyle, Texas, ROOTED for Change is more than an organization—it’s a movement committed to breaking down systemic barriers and building up thriving communities. Our work centers on education, wellness, and economic empowerment as powerful, interconnected pathways to generational opportunity. With every program and partnership, we invest in people, nurture potential, and create space for communities to heal, grow, and lead. ROOTED for Change exists to ensure that where you live—and where you come from—never limits where you can go. We exist to break down the systems that keep people out and build up the ones that let them in. Here’s how we do the work: Education & Personal Growth From mentorship to leadership development and parent advocacy, we equip individuals to lead their lives with confidence and clarity. Health & Wellness We support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through mental health programs (especially for men), culturally rooted wellness workshops, and healing-centered care. Community Engagement & Advocacy We turn community voice into community power. Through organizing, outreach, and civic action, ROOTED helps people rise—together. Economic Empowerment & Workforce Development We provide real-world tools like financial literacy, job readiness, and entrepreneurship support that help people not just find opportunities—but flourish in them.
