Root Gallery

Founded in 2017, Root Gallery started out as a small art gallery with big ambitions. Built on the basis of trust, the gallery now represents a new generation of Dutch contemporary artists working in photography, sculpture, installation art and painting. Constantly evolving, Root Gallery seeks to strengthen its position abroad by participating in international art fairs and exhibitions, gaining valuable relationships in the process. It extends on this by fully committing to the development of ambitious and special programming in collaboration with international partners, always in the best interest of the artists. By combining attributes from a traditional gallery model with an innovative gaze, Root Gallery aims to clarify the relationship between the public and the contemporary art market. It does so by facilitating continual communication with artists, collectors and visitors, while including more and more people through vibrant events and an active online presence. Through this, Root continues to grow.
