E.A.R.L. is an East Coast Style Sandwich shop based in Honolulu, Hawaii. We started selling sandwiches in 2014, in the back of a parking lot, in the charming town of Kaimuki. That 300 square foot shop might not look like much, but back then it was everything to Justin, our owner.
In 2019 we were finally able to open our second location in the up and coming neighborhood of Kakaako. The new space allowed us to have a lot more creative freedom, and we have been able to create our take on classic, regional, East Coast Style sandwiches.
In 2022 it was time to uproot the original location to a bigger space. It was bittersweet leaving that parking lot (although we technically didn’t leave), since it was the place of so much growth for our business. But we found a new home for E.A.R.L. Kaimuki in the iconic Market City Shopping Center at the corner of Kapiolani & Kapahulu.
