Rose Ranch is an equine-assisted mindfulness and self-regulation program designed specifically for clinicians—doctors, nurses, and therapists—who face high levels of stress and burnout. We combine Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with somatic experiencing and nervous system regulation techniques, providing practical tools to help medical professionals manage stress, prevent burnout, and sustain their capacity to care for others. Unlike traditional mindfulness programs, we take learning out of the classroom and into an experiential, nature-based setting. Working with horses provides real-time biofeedback, helping clinicians recognize their stress patterns and practice self-regulation in a tangible, embodied way. Through individual and small-group sessions, we offer a structured yet supportive environment where medical professionals can build resilience, restore balance, and apply these skills in both their personal and clinical practice. Rose Ranch exists to give those who care for others the tools to care for themselves.
