The Ross Trust was established in Victoria in 1970 by the Will of Roy Ross. It has since distributed more than $127 million to support vulnerable Victorians experiencing a range of social, economic, and geographical challenges, plus environmental protection and preservation.
We are a compassionate and responsive philanthropic leader. We act with integrity and work transparently to foster ideas and innovation and achieve long-term impact and systemic change.
Today, our granting priorities include providing equitable access to secondary education for young Victorians and working with partners to ensure Victoria’s biodiversity is conserved, protected, and valued as part of a healthy and resilient environment.
From time to time, we will fund other areas of need including responding to Victorians in crisis and working collaboratively to build the capacity of the philanthropic and social sector.
