Rotaract is a service club for students of National Institute of Technology, Rourkela who are dedicated to the community and international service. It is one of the oldest clubs in NIT Rourkela which is the youth wing of Rotary International, which is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. It is a non-political and non-sectarian organization open to all people regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference.. The members work together for the eradication of various social and management skills by organizing and participating in various social events.
