Rotaract Club of Bangalore B.I.T.

Rotaract originally began as a Rotary International youth program in 1968. This is an international organization that believes in “Self Development Through Fellowship & Service”.There are more than 9000 clubs worldwide with each club having any number of members - above 15 to 25 persons. Rotary is divided into a federalist or charter system with 35,000 clubs that meet every week all around the world; 530 districts that manage individual clubs, charter new ones, and maintain the link between Rotary International and the clubs. The Rotaract Club is an excellent way of meeting new people on a semi-formal platform and network while having fun - doing social service. Rotaract Club of Bangalore BIT was founded in 2011. It is a part of global effort to bring peace and happiness though service, by the students of B.I.T. Bangalore, with the support of Rotaract. It is affiliated to Rotary International District 3190 and it’s one of the most active clubs in the college which brings together students to take action in their communities.The club is sponsored by Rotary Bangalore South East, our parent Rotary Club. Goals of RCBIT- 1.Community Service: We believe in serving the community. We work in full force for the betterment of the society and do the needful to the unprivileged. 2.Club Service: With activities on all levels, we focus on club service as well. A healthy and friendly environment is maintained within the club. 3.International Service: Spreading wings and flying with glory is what RCBIT aims for. We believe in expanding our boundaries not only in the district but also globally. 4.Professional Development: Growing with Rotaract is an extraordinary process. Inculcating responsibility and pressure management are the two things we definitely learn. 5. Our Parent Rotary- Rotary Bangalore South East Founded in the year 2000, RBSE has been contributing to the society especially in the field of education. They believe in “Service Above Self”.
