Research group of the Adult Intensive Care of Erasmus MC, specialising in Advanced Respiratory Care. It is our ambition to optimise personalised ventilatory support for the critically ill patient, by innovative use of (new) technology. We promote physiological research and use a data-driven approach aiming to improve patient care.

Our research group consists of investigators (intensivists, technical physicians) from ErasmusMC and collaborating ICUs in Rotterdam, PhD candidates and MSc students from several backgrounds (Medicine, Technical Medicine and data-science), and ventilation practitioners.
