PT.Rote Karaginan Nusantara (RKN) is a subsidiary of Portvest Group,a family owned enterprise established in 2016 in Kupang, Indonesia. Our processing plant, is the most advanced and largest Carrageenan processing plant in Southeast Indonesia is located 25km south of Kupang, the capital of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), a province deep in the southeast of Indonesia. NTT is the biggest and best raw seaweed producer in Indonesia and establishing our plant here enables us to secure raw quality seaweed supply for processing, some of which comes from our sister company Pesona Lautan Nusantara (PLN) that specializes in seaweed plantation aquaculture and Bioculture.
