Founded in 1998, Roth & Rau - Ortner specializes in products, solutions, and services in factory automation for high-tech industries, especially the semiconductor manufacturing industry. The company's scope of activities is divided into three business units: Automation, Products, and Installation & Service.
In the "Automation" business unit, custom-tailored automation projects are developed and implemented for production logistics applications. This includes systems for cassette transportation, storage & identification as well as direct tool loading and wafer handling.
Our “products division” concentrates on the development of highly specialized cleanroom products for optimizing chip manufacturing processes. We offer logistic systems for cassette transportation, storage and loading, RFID solutions for fab wide product identification as well as leading edge Purge Solutions for FOUP/SMIF/RSP Nitrogen Purging.
"Installation & Service" handles installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated material handling systems and production equipment.
