RotoDyna

RotoDyna was founded in Q3 of 2022 upon the funding approval by the grant SmartStart, organized by the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia. The Company was founded by 5 researchers from the University of Belgrade, with backgrounds in the field of surface mining and material handling machines, and extensive combined experience in science and engineering work and cooperation with major domestic and international companies from the relevant industries. Currently, the primary focus of the Company is the development of a device aimed at protecting these machines, as they play a critical role in the global production of electric energy and various raw materials vital for the operation of many industries. The purpose of the device (the AMPD Controller) is to protect the machines from unexpected standstills and breakdowns, which lead to serious if not catastrophic financial consequences. Additionally, the device is aimed at proactive protection of the machines, which has established the company motto - “Thinking ahead”. * Forensic engineering - Diagnostics of cause(s) of structural failures and breakdowns * Structural integrity assessment - Identification of weakpoints on the machine or validation of the solution * Fatigue life assessment - Assessment of remaining operational life or to schedule revitalizations of the machine/fleet of machines * Development of reconstruction, modernization and revitalization solutions - Risk mitigation: used to eliminate weakpoints and/or reduce the likelihood of breakdowns * In situ measurements of stress-strain states and vibrodiagnostics - Assess the discrepancies between the designed (as per documentation) and realized (assembled) state of new machines, and to assess the effects of adjustments made in scheduled annual repairs * Focused research and development activities - Breakthroughs, improvement, scientific validation; focused investigations on causalities and effects on the specific performance aspects or substructures
