Roundtable (RT)

The Roundtable Event is a one-day event organized by Mike Buzzard and Shawn Petersen, focused on the practice of running design agencies — a direct extension of our on-the-ground experience in the design community. We originally conceived of the roundtable format during a conversation around agency life. Roundtable’s format was designed to be an open and transparent environment to share pragmatic and action-oriented insights, including experiences and ideas that we didn’t receive but could have benefited from--while running our own groups and agencies. The event focuses on building a trusted, knowledge sharing network where we intimately and transparently discuss themes that impact agency owners such as company culture, growth, tools, business development, teams, client management philosophies, recruiting, retention, and more. With owner alumni from Fuzzco, Rally Interactive, Basic, Underbelly, Funsize, Grain & Mortar, O/M, Impossible Bureau, Octopus and many others.
