Route Down

A philosophy of life in the Western world that challenges the status quo. Route Down shares the learnings that come with living and thinking differently, primarily by traveling full-time and experiencing the world in all of its forms. root /ro͞ot/ : establish deeply and firmly. Root Down : Settle somewhere, become established, as in We’ve put down roots here and don’t want to move away. This metaphoric expression, first recorded in 1921, likens the rooting of a plant to human settlement. Route /ro͞ot,rout/: a way or course taken in getting from a starting point to a destination. Route Down: Take a course from a starting point with no established end in mind. The journey is the destination.
