Providing real-time navigation including travel time and distance, the pod guides the user to their chosen, encouraging and incentivising the visitor to explore further, to go off the beaten track and engage with new communities, spending time in the area and contributing to the local economy.
As Digital Designers, the Rovar team realised the opportunity to apply 20+ years experience in branding and visual communication, to approach smart cities from a different perspective by placing the citizen at the centre of the user experience and empowering communities to tell their story with augmented reality, to shape their narrative and become an attractive destination within their own city. Placing their story on the map, we then have the opportunity to attract new visitors to their district.
