The Rowan University Department of Biomedical Engineering is one of the fastest growing departments in the nation. Novel solutions to real-world problems are cornerstones of our research and educational programs, and we take pride in preparing our students to positively impact the world when they walk out the door. Through Innovative graduate and undergraduate curricula, hands on experience, and teamwork, we at Rowan strive to provide our students with the tools they need to succeed in diverse areas of the field.
With our primary focus on Hands on research and translation, we at Rowan provide state of the art teaching and research laboratories to facilitate and enhance student learning. Under guidance of faculty, students will gain experience with the scientific method, engineering design process, experimental techniques, data analysis and presentation, and scientific writing. Through these experiences, students will learn what it's like to work together in multi-disciplinary teams with graduate students, faculty, and collaborators to solve high stakes real-world biomedical issues.
