RPC of Magnetic Hydrodynamics Ltd was founded on the basis of Krasnoyarsk State Technical University (KSTU) in November 1990 with the aim to conduct research, development, design and organize production of MHD-technology electric equipment for metallurgical purposes. Company has its own experimental-industrial production facilities for fabrication of electrical heating systems, various MHD based devices and refractory precast shapes. RPC of Magnetic Hydrodynamics Ltd. operates as a full range engineering company and acts as the main contractor supplying turnkey solutions. Company's products are in demand in Russia and overseas: Russian aluminium smelters (UC RUSAL), Kazakhstan electrolysis plant, ARMENAL (Armenia),SIAL group of companies, KRASCVETMET (Krasnoyarsk), RPC AVIASPECSPLAV (Moscow), Avial (Moscow area), ALCOA, ALCAN, SAPA.
