RPG Power Trading Company Limited (RPTCL) is a strategic business unit of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group (RPSG Group) and is holding a CERC Category - II Power trading license issued by The Hon’ble CERC on 23rd September 2008. RPTCL was incorporated with the objective of optimizing the Group’s energy assets and bridging the demand supply gap in India by trading Power from other Power generators/utilities. It started its first Power trading transaction on February 2009. RPTCL has expertly handled a trade volume culminating over 7000 MUs over the years, in both IEX and Bilateral trade segments combined. RPTCL has also made its presence felt in the REC and ESCert trade segments.
