RPQ is a Group of companies owned By Downer EDI Limited (DOW) which provides a range of quality services in road construction and maintenance. Established in 1984, with two staff members and one machine, RPQ were an important partner in introducing road profiling technology into Australia. For over two decades, the RPQ group has grown to match customer demands for quality, service and expertise. Through this substantial growth, RPQ has diversified to now operate dedicated companies in the supply of asphalt, bitumen spray sealing, road milling and profiling, civil construction, road maintenance, foam bitumen stabilisation and equipment hire. The RPQ group today employs over 130 staff, owns a fleet of over 100 machines and operates out of nine locations across Queensland and New South Wales. This significant expansion has attracted a high level of industry experience across our management, operational and support staff. Each company of RPQ operates under a dedicated manager and is supported by the Financial, HSE, Administration, Laboratory and Workshop divisions of RPQ.
