Richard Pieris Company newly entered in to Stock Broking, through its fully
owned subsidiary of Richard Pieris Securities (Pvt) Ltd. Being the largest Tea
& Rubber exporter in the country, the diversified conglomerate has a market
capitalization of Rs. 27 billion in the Colombo bourse.
The Company
Richard Pieris Securities (Pvt) Ltd commenced its operations on 6th January
2011 and was awarded Trading Member Status of the Colombo Stock
Exchange. The Company Comprises a sales team who are professionally
qualified in the field of Stock Broking and carrying over 100 years of
cumulative experience in the industry. The services provided are supported
by the recommendations of our research division and a group of well
experienced and qualified team is looking forward to serve the investors.
Stock broking has gained impetus not only in Colombo but also throughout
the island. Arpico with its network of branches and Mega Supermarkets is in
a unique position to service this sector, and plan to open many offices within
the next two years. We will take advantage of our company’s infrastructure
and facilities throughout the country to tap new sources of capital and
contribute towards the broad basing and development of capital markets in
Sri Lanka
