The RQMP brings together 80 scientists in physics, engineering, and chemistry who design, manufacture, and characterize new materials and material assemblies at the atomic scale, to modulate their physical, electrical, and magnetic properties and adapt them to specific applications.
The RQMP also includes more than 400 graduate students, 100 postdoctoral fellows, and 50 professionals and research associates, who contribute to major advances in the science and technology of advanced materials.
The RQMP is a strategic group recognized and funded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec, Nature et technologies sector (FRQ_NT) and McGill University, the University of Montreal, the University of Sherbrooke, and the École Polytechnique de Montréal.
