Hello world! I'm Raquel. Born in Madrid, and after spending three years in London, I moved back to my hometown where I currently work as a remote Product Designer for The Dots – an award-winning White Label networking app used by some of the world's most aspirational brands, including Apple, Soho House, FRIEZE - a collective membership of 1 million + members. The product we collectively created has secured multiple awards, including 2 Apple App of the Day features and a Webby for our Dazed Club White Label. Over the past six years, I've led design projects from inception to execution and collaborated closely with cross-functional teams. My role has evolved to include the creation of demos and prototypes for sales proposals. I've also successfully migrated from Sketch to Figma, seizing the opportunity to establish a new Theming System aligned with the latest product aims and needs. This has greatly facilitated design workflows and collaboration among iOS, Android, and web development teams, demonstrating my adaptability and problem-solving skills. I've also been in charge of the design of visual assets for marketing/social media campaigns, email notifications, newsletters, client decks and promotional micro-sites.+ I have a deep-rooted passion for UX/UI Design and Branding. I'm committed to working on projects with a positive social impact, balancing visual efficiency, user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. I'm eagerly seeking a new and exciting opportunity to advance my career and contribute to meaningful projects that create innovative solutions, resonate with users, elevate brands, and drive positive change.
