RTA - Regional Transportation Authority

The Regional Transportation Authority is a special taxing district, with a 20-year regional transportation plan approved by Pima County voters in 2006. The RTA delivers transportation projects that improve our region’s connectivity, accessibility, safety and environment. To date, the RTA has invested over $1.6 billion generated by the RTA’s half-cent transaction privilege or sales tax to improve your quality of life and support the region’s economic vitality.
