Renaissance Technical Institute

Renaissance Technical Institute is a 501(c)3 New York State - Not-For-Profit Organization leading the way in community empowering and equity of opportunity, through skill-training and educational opportunities for 'at-risk' youngsters, at NO COST. We provide hope and inspiration in low income communities in Harlem and the Bronx, offering vocational training in a few months that prepare our students to pass examinations that lead to jobs as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, IT support, optometric technicians, etc. Our goal is break the cycle of crime and gang involvement, prevent more youth incarceration and school failure, and contribute to decrease unemployment in our community for the youth and people we serve.
