DOULA SERVICES Everyone deserves to die with dignity, peace, and in the presence of those who treasure their very existence. We cannot stop death from overtaking each of us, but it is our honor to comfort and witness the passing of our clients from this world, whether their deathbed is surrounded by generations of loved ones or by only a few. Our role is to provide comprehensive, customized, and compassionate support to individuals and their families who are facing the challenges of approaching death. We are here to foster open dialogue around the often-taboo topics of death and dying. We assist our clients – with love and non-judgment – in planning for and navigating their transition through this final life stage in a manner aligned with their beliefs and personal desires. We offer emotional, practical, and spiritual guidance to allow all those we work with to come to clarity, solace, and acceptance as they (or their loved ones) journey toward death. BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT Assistance for loved ones to reprocess the dying experience through one or more sessions, focusing not only on the death itself, but also on things said or not said, things done or not done. You may wish a separate bereavement package, or utilize an add-on to the doula contract.
