How Did It All Start? Nate & Nicole have painted, sewn, built, and crafted things in their own home since they were first married. When they started hosting small group Bible studies in their home, more people were coming into their home and taking notice of the unique items that populated their rooms and walls. Those friends started offering to pay and asking Nate and Nicole to make special paintings for them or build them furniture. At that point they discovered how much they enjoyed the work and realized that other people valued it too. Thus, Ruby & Oak was born. What's In A Name? Nate and Nicole's heart is to create unique and meaningful pieces that will be cherished by you for years to come. They are both July babies, with the ruby as their birthstone.
