Ruckfield is a casual chic brand of Rugby sportswear inspired by Sébastien Chabal, a charismatic international Rugby player and beloved French public figure. The brand idea took form during the 2007 Rugby World Cup, when Sébastien Chabal’s met, after playing a now legendary match against the New Zealand All blacks, the owner of a renowned French textile company, a man that was himself a Rugby fan and former non-professional rugby player. Friendship quickly formed between the two men, the wish to create grew up, the ideas became more refined, the talents got combined, the story began! Sébastien Chabal wished for «a brand that would be available to everybody. A brand that would tend towards sportswear style, that could be worn for a night out with friends as well as for going to the office while maintaining a definite Rugby connection». Together, they bring a modern touch to the brand, mixing impertinence and traditional sporting values, transcending the rugby spirit and founding the bases of what the brand Ruckfield is: sportswear Rugby casual chic under its moto #WEARERUGBY. Each collection is carefully crafted to the trends of the market – colors, fabrics, shapes, embroideries – while still being able to retain its own identity and values and range from size S to size 5XL.
