RUGGD started out helping (mainly FS) clients as they tried to develop secure applications in the cloud. What became quickly evident is that at large orgs, the dev, infra and security teams would never be fully reconciled. Different P&L's, different cultures, lots of contractors etc. Getting stakeholders from across those teams to use the same tools was nigh on impossible. So we started building a consolidated set of scanning tools for the AppSec and cloud infra teams, and a runtime engine to provide real-time cloud visibility to security teams. Thus RUGGD was born!
