RU LERA is an award-winning non-profit organization that was founded in the Fall of 2014. We are the first student-run chapter in the nation that has a direct affiliation to LERA (Labor and Employment Relations Association), the official organization for Labor Relations. We are the leaders of today and the emerging leaders in our field who are ingrained within a diverse community of individuals. As we pave the way for other student chapters to form across the nation, we invite you to join us on our journey and to take advantage of this opportunity that no other university in the country offers its students. Our Mission Statement We are RU LERA, comprised of a student body, focused on the development of labor practices through education and establishing networking opportunities for our members and working professionals. We aim to provide workshops and events that promote the engagement of labor topics, research, legal matters and exchanges regarding people and the workplace.
