RumFest specialised in the promotion of Rums from Mauritius through the organisation of events locally and internationally. Our aim is to increase the visibility and exposure of Mauritian rums. Rums from Mauritius feature in the top league of quality rums in the world. They have been the recipient of numerous awards at international competitions. Mauritius produces both Agricultural rum which is obtained from by distilling fresh fermented cane juice; and Traditional (Industrial) rum which is obtained from the distillery of molasses. Mauritius offers a wide range of rums, including white rums, dark rums, aged rums, flavoured rums, island recipe rums... which are exported to numerous countries in the world.
