RUNLABS mission is Making Science Easier. A focused life sciences real estate company, RUNLABS is investing in opportunities with thoughtful stewardship of institutional capital in the UK and Europe. Steven Marcus, RUNLABS’ founder, brings years of experience in growing life sciences and technology clusters working with Alexandria Real Estate Equities in the US and India. Prior to founding RUNLABS, Steven Marcus advised Alexandria Real Estate Equities on capital markets strategy, the creation of substantial shareholder value, and led to its largest programmatic joint venture (approx. $1.2 billion of investment, including development of long-term life science clusters in Boston and San Diego) with TIAA, now Nuveen. We are creating a network of lab and office facilities for life science growth – the networked Cluster-of-Clusters. We are fostering cross-disciplinary connections to inspire world-changing scientific breakthroughs. Steven Marcus, RUNLABS’ founder, has an extensive entrepreneurial background in life sciences, including investment and fundraising, as well as cluster, team, and company building. We collaborate with top venture capital firms and incubators on a company-by-company basis to accelerate and optimize enterprise growth. Location, faculty and knowledge are intertwined with capital formation. RUNLABS has expertise in collaborating with institutions of excellence and higher education, venture capital, as well as national, state and local governments, to drive world-class technology transfer, company formation and ecosystem growth.
