Runner Motors Limited (RML) started its operation since October 2004. Eicher Motors Ltd. of India appointed RML as an Exclusive Distributor on famous Eicher brand (LCV and MCV) trucks and pickups in Bangladesh. Eicher trucks are manufactured by Volvo-Eicher Commercial Vehicle (VECV) which is a joint venture of Volvo Group (Sweden) and Eicher Motors (India).
Formally commissioned on 12th October 2004, the company (RML) organized its dealer network and well covered service supports countrywide. Runner Motors marketed more than 15,000 Eicher trucks & pickups in Bangladesh up to December 2015.
RML achieved the Best Performance Award in First Year of Operation for the year of 2004-05 (Apr to Mar) from Eicher and subsequently, Runner Motors Limited achieved Awards for Highest Vehicle Sales Overseas Market (International Market) on LCV & MCV for 2005-6, 2006-7, 2007-8, 2008-9, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 from VE Commercial Vehicles, India.
