The founder of Rupsha, Mr. Shafiqur Rahman started his business in 1972 by manufacturing rubber slipper (Hawaii Slipper). Within few years it became the most popular Rubber Slipper brand in Bangladesh. In 1991, Rupsha expanded its business by making bicycle tires and tubes in Bangladesh. At that time the Bangladeshi rickshaw and bicycle tire market was totally dominated by Chinese and Indian tyres and tubes. By making quality bicycle tires and tubes, Rupsha carried out a significant role in establishing Bangladeshi brand in the local market. After around 50 years Rupsha still in the heart and soul of Bangladeshi. It leads the local tyre and tube market by constantly innovating and introducing new products. Rupsha constantly refines its manufacturing process to provide error free quality tyre and tubes to Bangladeshi users.
