RURALITIC EU

Rethinking rurality in a changing world. Launched in January 2025, RURALITIC is a Horizon Europe project coordinated by the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (INRAE). The project aims to understand current rural areas' dynamics and improve public policies in Europe. Our science-based approach includes: ▪ Redefining rurality - exploring new concepts and methods using data, innovative surveys, and indicators. ▪ Deploying our new concepts - conducting surveys and ethnographic cases across Europe. ▪ Shaping future rural scenarios - tailoring public policies to align with European priorities of sustainability, resilience, connectivity, and infrastructure of rural areas.
