Rurality – Environment – Development (R.E.D.)

Ruralitity – Environment – Development (R.E.D.) is an international association established in 1980. Through its network of members and partners in Europe, R.E.D fosters ongoing exchanges on rural policies and their implementation. Its dual purpose is to enhance operational effectiveness in the field and strengthen dialogue with European institutions. R.E.D aims to promote balanced development between closely linked urban and rural centers, ensuring territorial cohesion in Europe. The association prioritises a participatory approach that integrates economic, cultural, and environmental considerations within a given territory.
