RUSAL owns proprietary smelting technologies and is developing new ones, including a revolutionary inert anode technology. In 2017, RUSAL launched ALLOW, a new brand of low carbon aluminium which enables all its customers to contribute to their climate change strategy. ALLOW aluminium is made from renewable hydropower and it enables customers to deliver products with a lower CO2 footprint to make a positive impact for society.
