Rusanov ured was founded in 1992; it was a step forward in the development of the architectural practice of architect Andrija Rusan, who had been a freelance architect up until that time.
In its practice, the office gives a considerable amount of attention to the continuity of tradition and context and to its caring relationship towards nature. It tries to keep its openness to research and new influx of information by staying in touch with the prominent currents in the world of architectural practices through the magazine Oris and the House of Architecture; both projects include intensive cooperation with important architectural figures.
