My name is Andrew and I‘m the co-founder of Rustic Rural, a family run business based in the quaint village of Waingroves, Derbyshire. I run the business along with my wife Laura and my father-in-law Michael. My story begins as an apprentice joiner at Chesterfield college in Derbyshire. Throughout my career I have had the pleasure of working at some amazing places...including Chatsworth House. I have always had a passion for being creative with wood and an eye for design which has become the essence of Rustic Rural. As a fellowship member of the institute of carpenters, my standards are high. I really do believe that every piece of furniture in a person’s home is a work of art. I take pride in every single piece we create, working with you to design the perfect pieces to suit you and your home. Specialising in indoor and exterior furniture and use all timber types including live edge and resin work. We create unique made to measure designs as well as standard pieces and can manage a whole room or house project if this is what you require. We also undertake renovation and conservation work.
