In 2016, after an accurate research & development process, the RUSTÌ ARROSTICINI COLLECTION brand was born, specialized in the production of various types of arrosticini, both fresh and frozen in I.Q.F. with new cryogenic technology. This last freezing technique has allowed the company over the years to acquire important market shares with lines dedicated to foodservice, horeca and cash & carry. Hence the idea of creating in November 2020 the brand new RETAIL line aimed at the world of G.D.O., production mainly concentrated on the three leading products of the Rustì range: Ovino, Black Angus and Breaded chicken. It is from tradition that our project comes to life. The Arrosticino is a typical dish of the Abruzzo tradition, always made with sheep meat. We analyzed this extraordinary product, we put it under a virtual magnifying glass, to understand what its strength and uniqueness was. We have overcome its limits: the limited proposal, the complexity of cooking, the problems related to the transport of the fresh product and a limited shelf-life. We have identified different cooking methods, which adapt to all catering, hospitality and domestic realities. We have developed new methods of conservation and storage, making Rustì a new product, in step with the demands that the market places every day. Thanks to Rustì, today the arrosticino is a product suitable for finger food, street food, but also an excellent gourmet dish. Rustì is a way of eating and a way of being together, a way of conveying the Abruzzo values of friendship, family, aggregation, confidence and “culinary informality”. Rustì collection, the choice is dictated by taste: Ovino, Bovino, but also Breaded Chicken. To each his own Arrosticino!
