Ruth Page Center for the Arts

Having just celebrated 50 years of service to the Chicago community, the historic Ruth Page Center (RPC) still provides world-class dance and fitness classes for people of all ages and abilities, a 218-seat theater for professional dance and theatrical performances, office spaces for In-Residence arts organizations, and subsidized studio, theater and office rental for nonprofit performing arts companies. Every year it provides a home away from home for dedicated young dance students and devoted alumni, and a comfortable meeting and workspace for many others. The thousands of artists and arts patrons who gather in RPC spaces each year – whether to work, perform, perfect a skill, see a performance, or focus on wellness – are important elements of the RPC community, the Chicago dance community, and the Gold Coast neighborhood through their economic impact.
