Restructuring and Distressed Investing (RxDI) is dedicated to providing education and preparation for the fields of distressed investing, advisory restructuring, and the field of bankruptcy law. The organization reaches to meet the objectives of education, networking, and diversity within the distressed industry. In order to cover all aspects of entering and understanding the distressed industry, RxDI has a series of various events meeting the clubs' objectives. Meetings are held biweekly. The events include educational foundations, speaker series, and interview preparation. The educational meetings are run by the directors of legal, advisory, and distressed investing. Educational meetings include an overview of what is currently going on in the distressed space and relevant lessons per each director’s choice to integrate all three branches. The speaker series consists of current graduate and upperclassmen students pursuing careers in RxDI, as well as industry professionals. Optional interview preparation will occur at the end of the semester in which members participate in a mock interview pertaining to their area of interest. Interviews will be conducted by the executive board. Interview guides for the distressed industry will be provided by the organization to assist the members in preparing for mock interviews and ultimately professional interviews. A biweekly newsletter will be distributed to members in weeks between meetings to summarize topics covered during the previous meeting as well as important restructuring and distressed industry updates and developments.
