The Law and Technology Society (L&TS) is Ryerson’s student-run organization for those law students who are interested in the combination and intersection of these two foundational fields. L&TS seeks to provide students not only with the resources and network necessary to pursue a career in the expansive and growing field of Technology Law, but also hopes to prepare students for roles in Intellectual Property, tech policy, advocacy, and bolster innovation within the field of Law itself. Through its relationship with technology, L&TS aspires to inspire innovators to use the growing tools that technology can provide to encourage innovative and entrepreneurial solutions to existing legal, political, and social justice issues. Through our dedication to innovation, entrepreneurship, and modern technological solutions to age-old problems, L&TS aspires to contribute to Ryerson’s own Modus Operandi to help inspire the Lawyer of the future.
