It has been specially designed to only capture ethylene molecules, enabling RYPEN to efficiently moderate exposure levels for long periods. This makes RYPEN’s mode of action unique within the ethylene control market, because fresh produce protected with RYPEN doesn’t utilise chemical oxidisation of molecules or rely on biochemically altering fresh produce. This means RYPEN protected fresh produce is safe, lasts longer with natural ripening and flavour development fully enabled. All RYPEN products are food-contact approved to EU and US FDA standards, ensuring fresh produce can be safely and effectively protected by RYPEN products at close proximity.
