GENERAL INFORMATION
RZ Agro is a private company owned by a group of international investors, with more than a century-old history in agricultural business in various parts of the world, and Russia in particular.
RZ Agro specializes in controlling, managing and cultivating agricultural land in Russia.
The company’s portfolio consists of agriculture land controlled by a mix of freehold and long term leases. It currently operates over 40,000 hectares of arable land in Southern Russia and plans to actively extend and diversify into other key grain production regions of Southern Russia and Central Chernozem. RZ Agro overall strategic plan is to consolidate up to 200,000 ha of prime arable land divided into regional clusters, and achieve cost effective production through a combination of transparent corporate structure, lean organization and targeted investments into Russian and foreign made equipment.
The first regional cluster has been created in Rostov region since 2009, through the acquisition of three well established agricultures companies. Over the past two years, RZ Agro has implemented proven agro industrial and management processes and accomplished right synergies and significant optimizations on its managed lands.
