SET Pty Ltd (trading as “Sideloader Express Transport”) was formed in July 1990 as a dedicated supplier of logistics services as part of the larger international transport/logistics chain. We service the needs of importers and exporters, as well as Customs Brokers, Shipping Lines and Freight Forwarders. The company’s activities centre on providing a complete logistics service to the various industry segments. SET provides a dedicated container transport division, a full service bonded and quarantine approved unpack/pack facility and a full service empty container park, servicing a number of prominent international shipping lines. Our Container Park offers long and short term storage of both empty and full containers, container repairs and refurbishment, steam and chemical cleaning of containers and ISO tanks. In addition, we have 50 power outlets to power refrigerated containers to -18C for the transportation of temperature sensitive cargo. All container and customs reporting is EDI based on the requirements of both our customers and Customs regulatory requirements. Our container packing and unpack facility holds the highest accreditation for both Quarantine and Customs, for the handling of imported goods under the control of either Customs and/or Quarantine. We perform full container contract pack/unpacking as well as packing and unpacking of FAK (freight all kinds) containers. This facility can operate 24/7 if required. Our transport operation consists of 10 full time tow operators pulling a variety of company owned equipment including 5 sideloaders, numerous 20ft and 40ft skeletal trailers, drop deck extendable trailers and curtain-sider trailers for the all weather transport of loose cargo.
