Vilarrasa Group is an enterprise located in Besalú (Girona) specializing in the manufacture of high quality open-end system spun yarns. The total headcount of Vilarrasa amounts to 150 employees. The factory is provided of 40.000 m2 of adequate installations for the textile activities and a sales network that allows worldwide product distribution.
The company is formed by four production centres situated in Besalú (Girona) and its surroundings producing yarns in white, ecru and all kinds of personalized colours. The principal blends are 100% cotton, cotton/acrylic, cotton/polyester, cotton/linen and cotton/viscose.
Our yarns comply with the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) according to the certification nr. GRS 2016-012.
Oeko-tex Standard 100 (product class I) certifies that our yarns fulfill the requirements of Annex XVII of REACH (incl. the use of azo colorants, nickel release, etc.), the American requirement regarding total content of lead in children's articles (CPSIA; with the exception of accessories made from glass) and of the Chinese standard GB 18401:2010 (labelling requirements where not verified).
ISO 9001 certificate guarantees the quality of the procedures as well as the use of the most modern production techniques at all company levels.
