Ingredients for a Circular Economy

The vision of the Partnership is to support the agri-food companies in their economic development while contributing to a sustainable and circular food system that meets the changing needs of the consumer and the demands of the EC in this matter. Enabling access to new, innovative, nutritional, healthy, high added value and/or techno-functional ingredients and compounds coming from the agri-food value chain is a key element to ensure circularity for the agri-food sector. The valorization of by-products and the high quality of agri-food products are important contributors to the reduction of waste and the creation of additional added value along the food chain. Such ingredients will find high added-value circular valorization possibilities in other sectors such as cosmetics, nutraceuticals, green chemistry, etc. with whom we would like to make the link.
