Saahas for Cause is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit based out of Los Angeles. Our Mission is to "To educate, empower, and enable the South Asian immigrant community to improve their quality of life". We provide wellness and education programs for older adults, women, and youth from the South Asian immigrant community to help them thrive in their adopted country.
Our services are delivered through four chapters:
1. Older Adult Wellness - Wellness Groups (e.g. Mauj Masti Sehat, Mast Desi), Individual Therapy, Language Empowerment Program (English Speakoji and English Hinglish)
2. Women Wellness - Women Support Groups, Counselling, Case Management, Referrals, and Mental Health Therapy for Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Victims
3. Youth Empowerment - Social justice, Public Health, Research Internships, Tech Classes (for older adults)
4. Community Health – Radio/podcast/YouTube programs, Public Service Announcements, Webinars, Food drives
We provide non-judgmental care and safe space for people suffering any forms of barriers or hardships in their life.
