Sabal Technology & Management Consulting was formed in 2009 to provide services to technology companies and the legal and financial communities with which they work. We are a group of independent consultants working on electrical and electronic technology and science and the businesses that operate in that sphere. We have the experts to solve your technical problems. We have the cumulative expertise to cover a broad range of electrical technologies from computer chips to high-voltage transmission lines. We have solved product and process problems for most Tier1 semiconductor IDM’s and several foundries and fabless companies. Outside of the semiconductor space, some of our past clients have been manufacturers of lighting fixtures, appliances, firearms, audio equipment, solar cells and panels, batteries and charging systems, and many others. We have represented utility companies at the utilities commission and have opposed them. The legal community employs us as expert witnesses in litigation and intellectual property disputes. We have experts who can evaluate product failures and resolve product problems that have led to civil disputes or resolve problems before they become legal matters. In the IP arena, our expert witnesses can evaluate patents and infringement claims and produce or refute claim charts and expert opinions. We can testify on the witness stand, and we can provide technical guidance for cross-examination of other experts. We can also help develop patent applications and conduct prior art research. For the financial community, we can evaluate the technology of early-stage ventures for both technical and financial viability. We have developed a tool for financial models that can be used to evaluate the projections of a business plan or to help create a business plan. We can also evaluate the IP catalog of existing companies as part of a merger, buyout, or takeover strategy and look at the technical and operational synergy of such a proposal.
