"Birlikte yaratmak ve geliştirmek" felsefesinden yola çıkarak bir dünya üniversitesi olmayı hedefleyen Sabancı Üniversitesi, yönetici eğitiminde pratik ve teorik bilginin, dünyadaki en son gelişmeleri gözeterek, yerel değerlerle birleştirilip uygulanması konusundaki açığı kapatmak üzere 2002 yılında Yönetici Geliştirme Birimi EDU’yu faaliyete geçirdi. Gelişimi bir süreç olarak algılayan eğitim anlayışı ile EDU, kurumların farklı yönetsel yetkinliklerini geliştirmeye yönelik olarak tasarladığı kuruma özel tasarlanan programlarını da aynı anlayış içinde esnek ve modüler bir yapıda sunmaktadır.
