Sinds 1984 jaar is Sabelco gespecialiseerd in import en distributie van elektronisch beveiligingsmateriaal. Het bedrijf startte met de activiteiten in het domein van inbraakdetectie (alarmsystemen) en in 2004 werd het aanbod ontplooid door aan de klanten ook producten voor videobewaking (CCTV) voor te stellen.
De producten en diensten werden enkel aan professionele installateurs voorgesteld en Sabelco bouwde zijn reputatie op op basis van de volgende criteria:
•Een lokale benadering en een dienstverlening in de nabije omgeving « Support & Supply »
•Een relatie van « partnership », zowel met de klanten als met de leveranciers
•Het verkrijgen van een kwaliteitscertificaat voor videobewaking « IP certified »
•Een « exclusieve » verbintenis op kwaliteitsmerken:
•In inbraakdetectie: Paradox en Sylco-Venitem
•In videobewaking: Panasonic, Fujinon en Tekno System
Sabelco is al van bij aanvang van zijn activiteiten aanwezig in België en het Groot-Hertogdom Luxemburg en heeft daarom in 2012 beslist uit te breiden naar Nederland.
Zo werd Sabelco BV opgestart in Hoogland (ten noorden van Utrecht) met als belangrijkste doelstelling dezelfde producten en diensten voor te stellen aan professionele, Nederlandse installateurs met de nodige aanpassingen aan de lokale wetgeving.
Tot slot wijst Sabelco op de geprivilegieerde banden met zijn twee belangrijkste leveranciers:
•Exclusieve distributeur voor Paradox sinds 1996
•Officiële distributeur voor Panasonic sinds 2006 (PSND)
